AF Lagos is happy to present “La vie scolaire”, a French comedy by Grand Corps Malade and Medhi Idir, as part of its new weekly cinéma rendez-vous “La Séance”, happening every Wednesday, at 12:00 AM, 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM, starting on Wednesday, September 16th. The programme aims at highlighting the freshest French cinema releases. The last screening of the day will be introduced in French and English and will be followed by a discussion with the public in both languages.
SYNOPSIS: Fresh from the South of France, Samia, a young educational consultant, arrives in a difficult middle-school in the suburbs of Paris. With Moussa and Dylan, two hall monitors who also master punchlines. She runs the School Life team that supervises students throughout the school year. Passionate about her job and assisted by the school’s teachers and her colleagues, Samia will do all she can to motivate discouraged kids and show them that a brighter future is possible.
