I had only seen kayaking on TV until I went for a leadership training programme at the Famous Shere Hills in Jos. That was three years ago, however I was surprise to find out that you could also indulge in Kayaking in Lagos. So for those of you who are looking for something to do for the first time, I put a list of resorts where you can kayak. Feel free to thank me later.
INAGBE RESORT
This is one of the best places to be if you want to escape the rigours of the cities. I had the privilege of experiencing one of the most beautiful mornings of my life when I spent a night there. I saw the sun rise above the Atlantic Ocean. The site was glorious and soporific. Inagbe resort sits on the tranquil banks of the Lagos Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. The exclusive waterfront resort offers the kayaking service for a token.
OMU RESORT
Omu resort is set in a rainforest environment which allows guests experience and be inspired by the wonders of nature. It is a type of resort you can simply wake up in the morning for adventure or kayaking purposes. The resort is located at 1 Omu Resort Drive off Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Way, Bogije, Ibeju Lekki, Lagos. While finding this address might be a bit of a challenge, you should be able to make the trip easier by using Google maps to negotiate your way.
