“TiwanTiwa” as the name implies to the happy Africans of the Yoruba descent, it means an emphasis of what is ours. The street art festival (formerly ‘Block Party Lagos’) is an annual 3-day celebration of pure arts, lifestyle and our rich culture as Africans. This depicts us as the happiest race in the world which has a reason or the other to always celebrate every now and then.
The anticipated edition for this year’s festival is tagged “Space of Imagination.” As the quote above as it, “there’s a trend around the world where art is being seen as a space that needs to be taken seriously.” Tiwa’n’ Tiwa Street Art Festival 2020 promises to provide a shared platform for creatives to express their art spanning across various media.

It is usually an event full of happy people from everywhere around the globe, this year is expected to witness 7000 attendees, 40 artists, 30 performances, 20 communities, 16 speakers and 40 vendors in the city of Lagos between 2nd – 4th April 2020.
