I always look forward to the taste of roasted meat and the crunchy feel of the cabbage in between the dough. I’m craving a roll of sharwama right now!
So I’ve made a list of my favourite sharwama spots on this post. These spots open into the night so you can always uber down to buy.
See the spots below:
La Parilla Grill
La Parilla grill clearly knows her business. I stumbled upon the place in my last visit to Ikota Complex in VGC, near Ajah.I liked that the grill was by the road side with chairs and tables just like those cafe’s i visited while in France and Turkey.
The sharwama was good and the attendant preparing it clearly knew what he was doing. He was polite and welcoming too. I’d visit again.
Sleeks Sharwama
Sleeks remains one of the finest spots to chill if you happen to be around the Ikota-VGC-Ajah axis. Located on a three story building, it has lounge, a club and a suya and sharwama joint.
The Sleek sharwama comes in various sizes and types. From the regular size to the extra-large size. The regular size cost N1200 while the biggest size is prized at N1500. They might do themselves some business good by delivering too.
Titto’s SHarwama
Popular called Ebeano sharwama; this sharwama is the most popular sharwama on the Island of Lagos. Rumour has it that it is the best sharwama on the Island of Lagos. This is totally bullocks to me! Let the eater of the sharwama be the judge please.
You can get this sharwama to buy at any Ebeano Supermarket except the one in VI. So the next time you are around Ebeano, try out the Sharwama let’s see if it is truly the best sharwama in Lagos.
O1 Sharwama
The O1 sharwama brand is the biggest sharwama chain in Nigeria with more than 18 locations around Lagos. From the Island to the Mainland. Good to know they also deliver. Their customer service is a good one too.
Best Sharwama
If you are a Surulere cat then you’d probably know Best Sharwama. This is by far the most popular restaurant in Surulere and the Yaba axis. Glad to know they’ve expanded to Ikoyi.
Sphinx Sharwama
Located in Ikota, near VGC. The business is managed by a Lebanese who speaks Yoruba fluently. I recently learnt that he has been living in Nigeria for the last 19 years. That’s a long time you might add.
