Over and again Olamide has proven to be one of Nigeria’s own king of the street. This comes not just with his ability to connect with everyone no matter their class, level of understanding or social status.
Olamide, whom up till this year had held his annual OLIC concert at the prestigious EKO hotel, took a major step to unveil the 25,000 man seater Telslim Balogun Stadium as the venue of choice for this year’s OLIC4 concert. A move that surprised many and we dare say kept the promoters of the event on their toes as they faced a major task to fill a stadium as big as T.B.S.
Even though the turnout wasn’t as expected, according to reviews form attendees and news making rounds online it is safe to assume Olamide’s OLIC4 was a success. Alone, Olamide has got the energy to hold together a massive crowd of 25,000 people but this didn’t stop the likes of Reminisce, Ycee, Tiwa Savage, Small Doctor, L.A.X, Lil Kesh, Skales, Ola Dips and many more from turning up to support the Baddoh.
Veterans in the music industry such as Daddy Showkey, Baba Fryo, Marvellous Benjy and Sound Sultan also performed as well as Terry G, Olu Maintain and Durella.
