Everyone was promised a VIP experience with Wizkid but nobody knew exactly how. We all went with our minds tuned towards fun, little did we prepare for the mind-blowing experience the event turned out to be. At first, the early hours of the concert dragged on as if Star Boy was not going to show up. Nobody ever wanted to give that a thought but BasketMouth’s jokes were no longer landing on funny spots till Wizkid surfaced on his dapper fuschia pink suit.
Wizkid kicked off on a very interactive note in which he asked if his fans were ready for the real taste of him. Everyone could bet their coins that they were going to be getting the best of Wizkid’s recently banging songs till he turned the table around to take us as far back as days of his debut album. He thrilled us to classic tracks like No Lele, Wiz Party and Back to the Matter with a fantastic appearance by Maleek Berry.
In spite of the wonderful performance by Star Boy Wizkid, our expectations would have been cut short without his duet with Tiwa Savage. Other artists including Chinko Ekun, Teniola, Dammy Krane and Skepta made the exclusive VIP experience worth its while.
