Felabration seeks to celebrate Fela Anikulapo-Kuti the Afrobeat Legend who died 20 years ago. The events attract thousands of visitors from both within and outside the country.
This event will be covered by Trace TV and other local TV stations here in Lagos. The theme song for this year’s Felebration event is ‘Pansa Pansa’ and the theme for the year is ‘The Prophecy’. The theme was chosen to remind everyone of the warnings made by Fela about the effect of corruption and the oppression of the masses.
