Everyone knows a night of hardcore partying in Lagos can be epic. Unfortunately it can also leave you with an epic headache the next day. Lucky for you, Lagos takes hangover recovery almost as seriously as we take partying. There are lots of spots in town to get a or a big hearty breakfast. Try one of these hangover remedies so you can get right back out there and party again.
Get prepared
You’ve probably knew this or Not. or possibly heard a friend gist about how dangerous it is to go out on an empty stomach, well turns out that happens to be super true. Make sure to grab a sumptous meal before drinking, the fat will help to line the walls of your stomach. This slows down the rate of alcohol absorption which means you’ll be less likely to wake up with a splitting headache. Too tired to eat? a pint of milk or shot of olive oil just may get your back.
Drink enough water
Drinking booze can expel up to four times as much water, quickly leading to dehydration, the main cause of those dreaded hangover headaches and dry mouths. Want to wake up feeling fresh (and amazed)? Simply have a glass of water between each bev.
Avoid Mixing
You probably knew this anyway or maybe not but mixing different types of alcohol never really ends well in the hangover stakes. Because different types of alcohol chemicals, they’ll all have a slightly different effect on you.Add it all together and the result is a mixed up mess and a banging headache. Pick your poison of choice and stick to it!
Painkillers
Your first thought will probably be to reach for some painkillers, and it’s not a bad shout as they will help with your headache – just make sure to pick the right ones.
Pepper Soup:
These are obvious and foolproof. Do not neglect them.
Alabukun:
A few friends swear by this. Make sure to consult a doctor.
When all doesn’t work. Well, Carry on drinking: Every alcoholic drink contains, as well as ethanol, small traces of the poisonous methanol these
