Runway Jazz as stated by the organizers will be a 2 day celebration of Jazz, showcasing the rich culture of Lagos State, and a Master Class on Music & Fashion. The event scheduled 29th off April at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos though a Jazz focused show will feature for the first time songwriter and singer Tiwa Savage.
According to Afolabi the founder of the said event, Tiwa Savage was listed as part of the performers to give a different dimension to the music festival.
“Tiwa Savage went to Berklee College of Music and graduated with a degree in professional music. So, she got the fundamentals and she can do anything as long as it is music – from jazz to hip-hop. On that day, you will see a different Tiwa.”
