Gidi Fest, Africa’s own answer to UK’s Glastonbury and US Coachella is back, better and bigger. News reaching us at Nightlife.ng is, Just a days ago, pre-sale tickets for the once in a year, fun packed show was put on sale and guess what? People are going crazy already for the soon to come event.
Debuted in 2014, The Gidi Culture Festival is an annual music and arts festival held in Lagos According to the organizers the show was created in response to a demand from the local youth culture for live, affordable, and accessible entertainment in Africa.
The Gidi Culture Festival provides a venue for live bands, DJs, and musical acts to perform. The show which also features a line-up of African acts from countries mainly across Africa and the UK occasionally is organized with a goal not to only give the best attendees the best time but also encourage the development of African talent and promote artists both within the continent and into overseas markets.
This year’s event promises to be much more better than previous shows as the organizers, alongside making available pre-sale tickets also announced a venue change from Eko Atlantic to the Hard Rock Café Lagos beach front, come March 30th 2018.
