The next time you’re relaxing on the couch finishing a beer, you could simply shout, “Fridge, come here!” and you’d have another cold beverage in a matter of seconds. If you didn’t think you could possibly get any lazier, we’ve found your perfect new appliance. Panasonic just unveiled the prototype for Ku last month, a voice-activated fridge that comes when you call.
While Panasonic the manufactures intends this to be used by the elderly and those with mobility issues, saving them from unnecessary trips to the kitchen. The company is also considering adding a warming plate to the top, to move warm meals from room to room.
Of course, we can also imagine this finding plenty of fans with the sort of people who currently have a beer fridge standing somewhere doing absolutely nothing. Imagine the bragging rights when you’re asked for some cold ones, and they make their own way from the kitchen. Unfortunately, since it’s just a prototype, the fridge may not be available for five to six years. That notwithstanding, trust Nigerians especially those resident in lagos, with so much stress in the city, the hustle & bustle and the damn traffic to go with it. I assure you, we all can use a fridge that brings Beer on demand.
