What you need:
- Water (cool and hot)
- Sugar (castor or cane)
- Yeast
- Balloon (to check fermentation)
- Rubber band
Directions:
- Dissolve the yeast in warm water
- Add sugar and mix thoroughly
- Pour the yeast mix into the bottle with cool water, cover and shake gently
- Remove the cover, place the balloon on the rim of the bottle and push the rest of the balloon inside the bottle
- Store in a dark place for 48-72 hours
- After 48 hours you’d get a whiter solution with bubbles in it and the balloon would be inflated. You’ll also see some residue at the bottom
- Take off the balloon, cover then shake well.
- Enjoy your drink!
